Making a bit of a contemporary statement, this oval raku vase measures approximately 10 1/2" H X 4 1/2" wide. The exterior base glaze is a copper and blue matte spattered with a glossier raku glaze which gives it a varigated look.
It is accented on the front with a copper wire spiral and zig zag copper wire embellishment & fiber with copper metallic threads. It is quite beautiful on its own but would also make a great container for a dried floral arrangement.

This is a most unique hexagonal vase accented with three bas relief, hand sculpted feathers equally spaced around the vase. Its glaze is glossy and it fired out to a beautiful golden green color, contrasted by the glossy copper of the interior. The base glaze is a matte with coloration of a silvery blue & copper. A glossier raku glaze has been poured over and gives it great contrast and interest.
