Measuring approximately 20 1/2" L X 19" W, this is a stunning decor item. It hangs from the back like a painting and is constructed in such a way that it stands away from the wall about 3/4" for an extra dynamic. The horse images are highly stylized and are called "Guardian Horses" by the artist, in honor of her first horse who seemed to "Guard" her when she was a young and inexperienced rider. This piece can be hung utilizing standard picture hanging hardware (it is hanging on curtain hooks for the pic!). It has been finished with a glossy raku glaze and has an amazing range of coloration. The edges are irregular and organic in nature (see detail pic below). Clearly, this is a very unique, one of a kind item which will be a great addition to home or office.
